Thank you for making the Journées du Savoir such a success!
Thousands of you came last October to see what's going on in Quebec's universities. We hope the experience was exciting enough to make you come back for the third edition of the event in 2011.
Stay tuned for breaking news about next year's program, which promises to be full of surprises!
Journées du Savoir was held from
October 18 to October 24, and more that
50 activities were realized by
15 universities around the province. Journées du Savoir was created to make the general public aware of the important role Quebec universities play in our economic, social and cultural development and the real impact they have on society. Over the course of seven days, universities around the province organized a wide range of original activities, including Student for a Day, guided tours and public lectures with special guests. All were free and open to the public.
This year, Journées du Savoir was also part of the Rendez-vous du Savoir, that took place October 20 and 21 in cooperation with five prestige partners: Ville de Montréal, Palais des congrès de Montréal, Conseil regional des Élus de Montréal, Montreal International, and the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal (BTMM).
